Are you able to manage the big Mobile Network Operators and strive for business within these clients? 

For our commercial Business Unit MNOs/TIS (Mobile Network Operators/Telecom
Infrastructure Services) we are expanding our team and are looking for an experienced:

Key Account Manager Mobile Network Operators

to lead the execution and deployment of all commercial activity with Dutch MNO’s (KPN,
Vodafone, T-Mobile/Tele2) in the Netherlands. This role reports directly to the Deputy
Country Managing Director/ Head of BU MNO TIS.


As a Key Account Manager you are responsible for:

  • Building and extending MNOs relationships by executing professional account management
  • across various departments within the MNO organization;
  • Identifying the needs of MNOs following a consulting and proactive approach;
  • Proposing to MNOs innovations that address their needs based on all available and
  • potential products and services portfolio;
  • Internally proposing pricing alternatives based on value creation, willingness to pay,
  • alternatives and technical area costs and capex specifications;
  • Elaborating Business Cases complying with our Business Rules;
  • Leading internal discussions on a Business Case prior to the presentation to the client;
  • Leading negotiations with clients and reach contractual agreements;
  • Maintaining customer relationship and monitor requests response time;
  • Attending relevant industry events.

What will you bring as a Key Account Manager?
You have an Engineering University Degree (preferably in Telecommunications);
Supplemented with MBA specialization courses or comparable training and education (e.g. in Economic; Financial appraisal techniques);
Besides your natural commercial talent, with good interpersonal skills, able to establish long
lasting relationships and developing new contacts, you have followed Sales techniques training and know all intricacies of the sales profession.
You will not manage a team, therefore you need to be a self-starter and a doer (standalone role)
Your experience:

  • A background in selling customized solutions and services to MNOs;
  • Experience in small adaptive companies rather than with large telecom contractors;
  • Experience in sales consulting approach;
  • Access and capacity to deal with senior management and decision makers of Strategy,
  • (B2B) Sales, Purchasing and (Network) Operations areas in Dutch MNO organizations;
  • Acknowledgment in at least one service of Our client portfolio: Tower Colocation (TIS), DAS,
  • MC/PN, Connectivity, Data Centres;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written;Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
